Spring has sprung
well, ok, maybe a bit premature...but it's just around the corner...hooray, and lots of wildcreatures will be emerging, and doing what they do in spring.
Here a pair of Orange-Tailed Sprites make a heart as they mate. No flash used here, but I approached this couple with a slow movement and positioned my camera with a tripod close to them at the edge of the pond. using live view focus I was able to take a focus point on the leaf, and then used f11 to give some depth of field, as it is a short macro, whilst also blowing out the background.
