I don't think we can ever have enough of owls, so here are some more pics.
I think that this was the moment when my son declared he was hungry so opened a packet of crisps!
I did not mention that we started the viewing at around 4pm, and that these owls can often be seen at dusk and dawn. So the light was fantastic with the setting sun (9pm?!), and streaks of gold behind them over the fields. However, there was not much light, so most of these shots are between 2-10,000 ISO and the one below at a staggering 25,600 ISO.
