Mating Demoiselles. Nope, its not a re-run of Emmanuelle (showing my age here), but a series of images of the copulation of the orange tailed sprite.
(actually only the top two images show copulation, the other images the male has clasped the Female behind the head either prior to copulation, or to stop her mating with other suitors once he has finished)
And as its my wedding anniversary today, this lovely heart shape is dedicated to my wonderful, critter wrangling wife. Here they are again, in a heart shape
These images below are not of mating...they are simply the male holding on so the female cannot mate again...and she will go and lay her eggs soon after, as seen here....
