I love watching these Egrets fish. This one over in Mai Po marshes. Mostly they catch little fish, but occasionally one gets a whopper!

this is how it started, in the water, and the bird moved quickly to land in case he dropped his haul.

then down the hatch, maw, gullet, throat, whatever....
