Hong Kong's only native Agamid lizard the pretty Changeable Lizard, or Common Garden lizard is a ubiquitous site in Hong Kong. 變色樹蜥 Calotes versicolor.

we are going to spend a few days with this lovely creature....here a male if full breeding colours

i love these lizards and used to see them everywhere in lions park in SaiKung. Sadly their habitat (hedgerows and grasses_) have been destroyed, so they are less common.

Look at how this chappy hangs on with his long claws and agile legs.

There is one tree that i know where i often can still find them and have seen two males and two females over different days.
