Pallas's squirrel (Callosciurus erythraeus), also known as the red-bellied tree squirrel.

Seen here feeding in the grounds of the Mathilda hospital on the Peak.

Like all tree squirrels, Pallas's squirrels are primarily herbivorous, meaning that they eat foodstuffs include like leaves, flowers, seeds, and fruit.But they do have the occasional snack on insects, as well as occasional bird eggs
